Products with Social Impact
We create products that positively transform people's lives.
At Lake3D we develop a ground-breaking 3D printing platform based on multi-material jetting — an advanced additive manufacturing technology that combines materials to print high-resolution 3D printed products. Our inkjet printing process places each micro drop with exceptional precision, allowing different materials or colors to be deposited exactly where needed.
At Lake3D, we believe that truly revolutionary 3D printing solutions require a holistic approach. That's why we develop the printer, materials, and software as an integrated system, precisely tuned to specific applications. This application-driven philosophy allows us to optimize every aspect of the printing process for applications ranging from dental care to eyewear. By controlling the entire technology stack, we can deliver unprecedented quality, consistency, and efficiency to our customers in the dental and other markets.
We create products that positively transform people's lives.
We value ingenuity, creativity and passion, prioritizing ideas over hierarchy.
We are committed to adding value in a sustainable manner.
We foster an empowered, diverse, and inclusive team built on mutual respect and trust.
Lake3D was founded in 2019 with a vision for revolutionizing dental manufacturing. During these foundational years, our team conducted intensive market research and developed a comprehensive business plan. We established extensive connections with dentists, dental technicians, and other stakeholders to gain deep market insights and create the right business model for the dental market.
A significant milestone was reached when our first printer was installed in our lab on the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven. With just four R&D team members, Lake3D successfully created its first multi-material prints using an initial version of our in-house software and model materials. This achievement marked the beginning of an intensive development process toward a proof of concept for our dental printing platform.
Our dedicated R&D activities culminated in a successful proof of concept for printing nightguards and dentures. This critical milestone demonstrated Lake3D's ability to provide integrated software, materials, and print processes capable of producing high-quality dental appliances with multi-material capabilities.
Building on our proof of concept, we've been translating our technology into a market-ready print platform scheduled for launch in 2025. During this period, our R&D team has grown to fifteen experts specializing in physics, chemistry, material science, and software engineering.
